AI and a text prompt

I came across Pants on Spotify, Lambert's new single released February 24, 2023. On its album cover, a pair of legs with blue jeans pop out of a cloud next to what may be a flying lamb. In the background, a blue sky, clouds, mountains, and greenery.

If anything, the artwork is appealing to the eye.

At first sight, the image reminded me of my experiments to produce art in the style of American painter Edward Hopper with DALL-E, OpenAI's text-to-image artificial intelligence.

Indeed, the corner of Lambert's album cover features a color key with yellow, light blue, green, red, and blue squares that reveals OpenAI's algorithm also generated the image.

No brush strokes, photography, or Photoshop, but AI, a text prompt, and, likely, an entertaining process of trial and error.
